I bought a used Autoprop a few years ago for my first C320, figuring it would be fine because it came off another similar boat, but it didn't work out so great.Ītomic 4 gas engine, fixed 2 blade prop (folding Martec to be installed soon), running rigging reworked in 1997 with Catalina reinforcement bracket retrofit, we purchased her in San Diego Feb 2013 and look forward to Channel Islands crossings as well as local racing. ![]() The Catalina 320 in the pen next to ours has a feathering prop on a bronze shaft and doesn`t seem to have any problems ************************* Regards Colin Evans Watermark #774 Lake Macquarie, Australia Denny Browne 04.12.11 17:22. ![]() I didn`t fit the new prop, as I had other priorities. However the suggestion also was that I get a stainless steel shaft fitted instead of the bronze one on the boat as the after market props are heavier than the 3 blade fixed. ![]() ![]() Jim, We have the same engine as you as our boat is also a 2000 model I got prices last year for a feathering prop and the suggestion was 15 x 10 x 3 blade.
